hi, I found your website through google and I’ve really enjoyed reading about your experiences as a PCT. I am leaving for Morocco in March to be a health volunteer. Any tips for someone 4 months out?

Erica – glad you stopped by. Tips? I suppose the best thing I did was get in touch with as many former and current Senegal PCVs as I could — they’ll tell you what you -actually- need to bring and give you country-specific recommendations. Other than that, really try not to build up too many expectations about your job, the other volunteers, Peace Corps admin, etc… expect to be surprised by everything 😉
